From PBA game day to international football leagues and world championship boxing, r88 Sports puts a full sportsbook in your pocket. Live betting, pre-match odds, and all wagers settled in Philippine Peso.
r88 Sports covers the events that Filipino fans actually follow — from local PBA action to the biggest international competitions across multiple sports.
PBA, NBA, FIBA, NCAA Philippines, and international leagues. The most bet-on sport among Filipino players on r88 Sports.
English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, and World Cup qualifiers are among the most popular football markets on r88.
World championship fights, Filipino boxers on the international stage, and major WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO title bouts covered with pre-fight and round betting markets.
UAAP, PVL (Premier Volleyball League), and international volleyball events including FIVB competitions. Growing steadily in popularity on r88 Sports.
Mobile Legends, DOTA 2, League of Legends, CS2, and Valorant. Esports betting is one of the fastest-growing categories on r88 among younger Filipino bettors.
Grand Slam events, ATP and WTA tour matches, and Davis Cup. Match winner, set betting, and game handicap markets available on r88.
MLB regular season and playoffs draw consistent betting interest on r88. Moneyline, run line, and over/under totals are the primary markets.
NFL games, especially playoff matches and the Super Bowl, attract significant betting volume on r88 Sports each season.
Sports betting in the Philippines has moved almost entirely online over the past several years. Players in Manila, Cebu, Davao, and across every province are now watching games on their phones and placing bets from the same device — often at the same time the match is live. r88 Sports is designed specifically for that reality.
The r88 Sports section covers over 30 sports and thousands of events every month. Whether you follow the PBA religiously, stay up late to watch EPL matches, or track international boxing title fights, you will find relevant betting markets on r88. Every bet you place is in Philippine Peso — there is no currency conversion, no hidden exchange rate built into the odds, and no confusion about what you are actually wagering.
Basketball is consistently the most active sport on r88 Sports among Filipino users. PBA games draw large betting volumes during the season, and NBA games — especially playoffs and Finals — keep the sportsbook busy during the second half of the year. Volleyball has grown significantly in recent seasons as the UAAP women's volleyball league built a national following, and PVL matches now generate real betting interest on the platform.
r88 Sports offers live in-play betting on a wide range of events. Once a match has started, you can continue placing bets on updated markets — adjusted game winner odds, next scorer, next point winner, over/under totals — as the game unfolds in real time. Live betting markets are updated continuously throughout the match.

r88 Sports covers the full range of standard betting markets, from straightforward win bets through to multi-leg parlays and specialised prop markets on select events.
| Bet Type | What It Means | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Moneyline | Pick the outright winner of the match. The simplest and most popular bet type on r88 Sports. | Basketball, Boxing, Tennis |
| Point Spread / Handicap | One side is given a virtual points advantage or disadvantage. Evens out betting on lopsided matchups. | Basketball, Football, NFL |
| Over / Under Totals | Bet on whether the combined score or total stat (points, goals, games) will be over or under a set number. | Basketball, Football, Tennis |
| Parlay / Combo Bet | Combine two or more selections into a single bet. All legs must win. Higher risk, higher payout. | Any sport – multi-event |
| Live / In-Play Betting | Place bets after a game has already started. Odds change continuously based on the live score and time remaining. | Basketball, Football, Esports |
| Prop Bets | Bet on specific events within a match — first scorer, number of three-pointers, exact round of a KO, and similar. | Basketball, Boxing, NFL |
| Outright / Futures | Bet on who will win a tournament, league title, or championship before or during the competition. | PBA, EPL, FIFA World Cup |
r88 Sports displays odds in decimal format by default, which is standard across Asian sportsbooks. Decimal odds show your total return per PHP 1 wagered — for example, odds of 1.90 on a PHP 500 bet return PHP 950 total (PHP 450 profit) if your selection wins.
Parlays offer significantly higher payouts than single-match bets because the odds of each leg multiply together. A three-leg parlay where each selection is priced at 1.85 returns combined odds of around 6.33 — but all three picks must be correct for the bet to pay out. Start with two-leg parlays while you get comfortable with the format.
Winning bets on r88 Sports are settled in PHP and added to your account balance as soon as the official result is confirmed. For live events, settlement typically happens within minutes of the final whistle or decision.
r88 Sports is built around how Filipino sports fans actually bet — on mobile, during live games, in Philippine Peso.
The r88 Sports interface is optimised for phones. Odds are easy to read on a small screen, bet slip entry is touch-friendly, and live match updates load quickly even on 4G mobile data connections common across the Philippines.
Every bet you place on r88 Sports is denominated in PHP. Deposit in Peso, wager in Peso, withdraw in Peso. No conversion rates to track, no surprise charges when you cash out your winnings.
Bet while the game is happening. r88 Sports keeps live markets open on basketball, football, tennis, esports, and other sports throughout the match with continuously updated odds reflecting the current score and time remaining.
Browse upcoming events and lock in your selections ahead of time. Pre-match markets on major events are typically available days in advance, giving you time to research and find value before the odds shift closer to kick-off or tip-off.
Your active bets, settled bets, and full betting history are all accessible from your r88 account dashboard. Review your performance across different sports and markets to make more informed decisions over time.
Real-money sports bets on r88 contribute to your VIP tier progress. The more you bet, the faster you move through VIP levels — unlocking higher cashback rates, faster withdrawals, and exclusive promotions.
Basketball is the sport that defines Philippine sports culture, and r88 Sports reflects that. PBA games — both regular season and playoff rounds — are available for betting with pre-match and live markets. The three PBA conferences across the year mean there is almost always PBA action available on the r88 sportsbook at some point in the week.
Beyond the PBA, r88 covers NBA games from the regular season through to the Finals. NBA betting volume on r88 picks up significantly during the playoff rounds, when the games attract intense following from Filipino fans. UAAP basketball is also listed during the collegiate season, with Ateneo, La Salle, FEU, and other popular schools driving betting interest.
Esports betting has grown faster on r88 than almost any other sports category over the past two years. The Philippines has a deeply rooted esports culture — Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in particular commands the kind of national following that basketball does in older demographics. The MPL Philippines league, with teams like Echo, RSG PH, ONIC PH, and others, is among the most bet-on esports competitions on r88.
Beyond Mobile Legends, r88 Sports covers DOTA 2 (The International, DPC leagues), League of Legends (LEC, LCS, Worlds), CS2 majors, and Valorant Champions Tour matches. Esports events run year-round with relatively short gaps between major tournaments, which means the r88 esports betting calendar stays active throughout the year.

r88 Sports is for adults aged 21 and above. Sports betting is a form of entertainment — it is not a reliable source of income, and no bet is ever guaranteed to win. All real-money wagering carries the risk of financial loss. Please only bet amounts you are genuinely comfortable losing.
Before you start each session, decide in advance on a budget and a time limit. The r88 platform lets you review your full betting history from your account dashboard at any time, so you can always see exactly how much you have wagered and how long you have been active.
